Potty, Potty, Potty

So this past few weeks Quinn has been playing around with the potty enough that I don't know if I should attempt to potty train or not. She seems to kind of get the idea, but I don't want to start to early and go through what we did with Avrie. I want Quinn to just "get it", but I doubt it is going to be that easy with her being as hard headed as she is.
Quinn is definitely the dare-devil of the two girls. It is always interesting to learn the differences between the two. I don't know if it is because of "knowing" Avrie longer than Quinn or what, but where there are differences it is very obvious. Where Avrie is content to sit and look at books or watch a movie, Quinn is content to look at a book, then take it to a different spot and then look a little more, then head to her room with the book, and sit and play with the little people house for a minute, then take the book to mommy's bathroom and set it down to play with the TP...etc, you get the idea... And don't even mention watching TV, she would rather turn it on and off and press buttons and make Avrie go crazy than to even think about sitting and watching...she has other things to do. :)
And where Avrie still doesn't like people playing with her hair, Quinn will let you comb and brush and do ponytails for quite awhile (probably the longest she sits still other than eating).
But while there are plenty of differences, there are also the times that it is quite obvious that they are not only sisters, they are also our daughters...they LOVE to be outside, playing with their scooters and trikes, or playing in the sandbox or going to the park. They both get HUGE welts wherever they get bug bites. They love bathtime, but not getting soapy, especially in their eyes. They both like to boss the dog around and they both love ice cream...yup, definitely my children :)
It can be SO hard to be a mom, but at the end of the day when they finally settle down and let you read a book and sing a lullabye, it all makes sense. I don't have to change the world, but I can love these two miracles as much as humanly possible.
