A little bit of us 2011

I've been meaning to update this for about a month now, but never seem to take the time to do it. There is always something else to do instead.  I was going through our old blog and reading a few things and hadn't remembered that I started it when Avrie was 4 months old. It was fun reading back through it and seeing how Ella is similar to her and Quinn and how they are different.  Ella is starting to look a lot like Avrie with more hair (and curly) at this age, but that's about all I remember to be similar.  Avrie liked to play a lot and started eating right at 4 months where Ella just started solids a few days ago and lots to just hang out and loves to snuggle like crazy.  I remember Quinn being an amazing sleeper and super easy to put down for naps and Ella is not as easy.  I wouldn't say I compare them to say one is better than the other, just to remember they are different.  They each deserve the equal amount of love in their own special ways.  I don't know how parent's can have favorites and be so obvious about it, even when their children reach adulthood. I understand how some things are easier with some children, like Quinn usually does what I ask right away, while Avrie takes her own sweet time and it can be so frustrating! But I can't help but wonder what God knows I'm avoiding by having Avrie keep us from leaving the house when I want to leave.
  So, since it's my first post of 2011 lets get some quick stats:

  Weight: 38 lbs, and has been for almost a year now.
  Height: 42 1/2"
  Current Favorite Foods: Oatmeal with frozen blueberries, cereal, chicken and rice, steak, green beans, peanut butter and honey sandwiches
  Current Not favorite foods: Lettuce, cauliflower, spicy chili, corn bread
  Current Favorite Pastime: Pretend play, doesn't matter if it is star wars, princesses, farmers, zookeepers or artists, she loves to pretend
  Current Other Info:  She loves Preschool and is learning her letter sounds. She is loving learning to write full words and just all of the exploring they do at school.

Name: Quinn Rose, aka Quinn-Quinn, Quinner, Quinner-Winner, R2D2, dad, mom, Raunzel, Queen Amadala, Luke, Yoda, mother, etc
Current Weight: 29-30 lbs
Current Height: 36"
Current Faroite Foods: Frozen blueberry pancakes, cheese, bananas, craidins, lettuce, beans of any kind
Crrent not favorite foods: black olives. blueberries, broccoli
Current Favorite Pastimes: Coloring, Reading Books, Pretend play with big sister
  Current other info:  She is currently working on potty training, we have been at it about a month so far and she does great when we tell her to go, it's learning to go by herself and knowing she has to go that we are working on.  It is just as hard as it was with Avrie, but this time I am a whole lot less stressed about it.

Name: Ella Jade, aka Ella-Bella, Ellerella, Bella, R2D2, Yoda, Baby Rapunzel
Current Weight: 15 lbs even on dec. 30th, so probably about 16 1/2 now.
Current Height: Nurse didn't tell me at her 4 mo well check so no clue, but she is now more comfortable in 9 mo sized clothes.
Current Favorite Foods: Milk...and since she has only had oatmeal, sweet potatoes, bananas and veggie flavored rice rusks, I will have to say the rice rusks have been her favorite as well as the sweet potatoes.
Current not favorite foods: It took a bit for her to enjoy the banana's today.
Current Favorite Pastimes: Watching faces and laughing at her sisters
Current Other info: she is now sitting up supported and rolling over both ways. Ella also loves to be in on the action and just watch what is going on around her, but when she is mad you better watch out!

So overall things are going good, just doing the day to day and trying to keep the house work from over-running us. Hope your year is full of blessings!
