Yay Snow!

It's been awhile since I've put anything here, but with facebook I end up just posting pictures and calling it good enough, but I figured this time I'd do things right and get more pictures and info up for all to enjoy...specifically winter pictures. We had a fabulous Christmas in Michigan this year, and everything was just made extra fun by the snow.  All 4 girls and Rob got all bundled up and headed out to play. It was pretty windy and chilly so I thought they'd only last an hour or so...a couple hours later I was doing the typical mom thing of hollering at them to come in and eat lunch. They had found the perfect sledding hill in Haileigh's backyard and were having a blast.

We had to come home on the 29th so we were home to have Christmas with Rob's family on the 30th, and Avrie was starting back to school on the 3rd. It was hard coming home, leaving all the snow. It just made us feel right where we belonged...well on the 31st Quinn and I woke up to it snowing here in Missouri, and it snowed all day long.  It was perfect.  The girls and Rob have had fun adventuring around camp in the snow, and found a fun little sledding hill down by the main lodge.

It's been nice having snow to adventure in, our only problem is that Avrie grows too fast :)  The poor girl's snow pants are about 6 inches too short, and the sleeves on her coat are about 3 inches too short. She says she's fine because she just wants to play in the snow, I just didn't realize at the end of winter last year she would need new ones for this year, so we are in the process of trying to find new ones without breaking the bank...And hope for more snow!
