October what?!

I like to blog, I mean to blog more, and yet it has been almost 2 months since I have blogged. Avrie turned 6, we went camping (twice), went to the zoo and I went on an amazing weekend away, so lots to talk about, but just didn't take the time, must think I am too cool.
As usual, things are crazy for us. Avrie loves Kindergarten. I am glad she loves it, but it is such a trial to get going in the morning and get her off to the bus. Last week she missed the bus twice because I couldn't make her go fast enough, and it's not like I can make her walk if she misses the bus, but I then have to get all 4 of us ready to leave the house instead of just 1 and that is just chaos at it's best.

 The other major thing that has happened this past couple weeks is that Ella started walking. The other 2 didn't start this early, and when Quinn started walking, she was just done with crawling. Ella just toddles around and it is just so cute. She has also decided she loves coloring.  Her and Quinn have had a cough and such for a good couple of weeks now, so it's been hard getting to her to sleep and sleep well, and she just wants to cling to mommy all the time, but watching her grow just makes up for it.

 Avrie's 6th birthday was a hit. We suprised her and Quinn with a trip to the Zoo on Saturday (partly because we didn't know what the weather was going to do) She loved seeing her Zebra's up close and we stood and watched them for quite a bit. And of course Quinn loved the penguins.

It was amazing how fast summer went, as usually, but 2011 has been quite a trial and I'm hoping that 2012 will be a bit easier, even it it brings some major changes to our lives.
