My recent projects

Lately I've been doing a pretty good job of keeping the house clean so that I can get some other projects done that I wanted to have done before the baby came and of course the longer the baby waits, the more I get done.  There are things I wanted to have for the baby and some things that I did just for me.  I wanted a nursing cover, but I didn't want a small standard size small one, I wanted one that would be bigger and give me more security and I found a fun pattern online at this super fun website/blog Make It & Love It to use and some fun fabrics at Hobby Lobby and it really was super easy to make, which is always nice.

Then I found a pattern that looked like it would be for a larger tote purse and it looked super fun so I thought I would make one and use it as a diaper bag every once in awhile since I like to switch up which bag I'm carrying and all, but when I got it done, it was barely purse size, but it was still cute.

So then I decided to go ahead and enlarge the pattern so that I could make the bag the size I originally thought it would be.

And then we lost a few too many pacifiers with Quinn so I'm being proactive and made some pacifier clips, which the girls helped choose the supplies for :)

So it's been pretty fun getting things done. I've also made some recieving blankets and a diapers/wipes case that didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but it'll work good enough for us.
Now we just need a baby... :)
